Have you submitted an abstract for the TASA 2022 conference yet?

Hi TASA Youth thematic group,

We are so excited about the dearly missed in-person TASA conference (Nov 28-Dec 2)! We are also very much aware that some of you may well be presenting face-to-face for the very first time. So, this is our attempt to encourage you to submit an abstract if you have not already done so. Abstracts are due by the 25th May.

As you may be aware, we have been holding digital drop-in sessions on the second Tuesday of each month. In honour of the upcoming TASA abstract deadline our next digital drop-in on May 10, 12.30pm-1.30pm will be dedicated to writing a great abstract.

Please come along regardless of how much or how little progress you have made on abstract prep. All you need to do is register here so that we can send you the zoom link a bit closer to the date.

Future monthly sessions in the lead-up to the conference will be dedicated to further developing your ideas, troubleshooting problems and, importantly, providing advice and collegial support for delivering a knock-out live-action presentation (god knows many of us need to clean out the cobwebs in this area)!

One last thing - we are excited to announce that we will be holding a TASA-funded youth studies symposium on ‘Youth and money matters’ on Monday November 28th (the week of the TASA conference) at the University of Melbourne. More to come about it soon, but for now please save the date in your diaries!

All the best,

Julia, Naomi and Ben.
