TASA membership is tax deductible and GST inclusive
On shore membership fees are determined by a graded scale according to income. In line with the International Sociological Association’s (ISA) membership fee structure, from 2015, off shore membership fees are based on country of current residence. The fees are divided into 3 categories (Cat.), A, B and C, according to the Gross National Income of the economy of countries. You can view the categories and then join here. The membership fee system works on an ‘anniversary’ membership model, which means that your membership will remain active for 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 years (depending on the option you select) from the date you join/renew. Members are urged to pay their fees by the due date to ensure timely delivery of their journals and to receive the latest sociological news and information from the newsletter. Please contact the TASA Office if you would like to gift a membership to someone.
A list of the full TASA membership benefits can be viewed on the Membership Overview page.
