If you are planning on presenting at TASA 2024, and you haven't submitted your abstract yet, we are pleased to announce that the call for abstracts has been extended to Monday 17th June (there will be no further extension).
In case you haven't heard, this year's conference will explore the theme: Living Now: Social Worlds & Political Landscapes.
Held once again in conjunction with the Council for the Humanities, Arts & Social Sciences Congress of HASS, TASA 2024 will kick-off with a postgraduate event (Tuesday 26 November), followed by three further days of keynotes, panel discussions, concurrent sessions and career stage focused workshops (27-29 November), not to mention a host of social events.
Guidelines for Submission
Participants who wish to submit an abstract can select from the following session formats:
1. Thematic Group Presentation
2. Panel Discussion (for approved panelists only)
3. Poster Presentation
4. Book Launch
5. Photography Exhibition
All abstracts should be 200 words (max.) and submitted by Monday 17 June 2024. All submissions must connect with the conference theme. Note, you can submit an abstract for a concurrent session as well as one for a book launch, for example.

Abstract Selection
Abstract selection will take place in June in consultation with TASA's National Conference Committee and thematic group convenors. All submitting authors will be notified of the outcome by Friday 19th July 2024.
