2021 Thematic Group Funding Round

Happy New Year! I hope you had a restful holiday period.

As you probably already know, the next round of applications for activities between July 1st and December 31st this year closes on March 1st. Some good news last year was that this round has double the budget ($10,000 instead of $5,000). Please follow the guidelines in the Thematic Group Conveners' Manual to write your applications. Groups can apply for up to $ 2,000 per round. Success of your applications depends on how well they address each of the funding criteria and the number of applications we receive. Based on this, some aspects of the applications may be funded, while some others may not.

I am looking forward to reading your applications. Best of luck with them, and please don’t hesitate to ask me any questions. I will notify you of the funding outcome after the March Executive meeting (date yet to be set).
