Hi TASA Youth thematic group,
We’re very excited to announce our one-day symposium on ‘Youth and money matters: Precarity, wellbeing and digital media’ which will be held on Monday 28 November 2022 at the University of Melbourne.
This is the week of the TASA conference, which runs from Wednesday 30 November to Friday 2 December at the University of Melbourne.
The symposium will include a keynote by Professor Lisa Adkins (University of Sydney), as well as academic and industry panels. Rather than asking participants to present a paper, this symposium will include workshop sessions which will allow attendees to apply their existing expertise to critical issues related to youth and money matters.
We are charging a small fee to cover catering, and have three $200 bursaries available to help HDR candidates and unwaged/insecurely employed academics cover the costs of attending (they can be used for expenses including, but not limited to: transport, an additional night of accommodation, childcare/care of family member, accessibility assistance).
You can find more information and register here - we hope to see many of you at the event! All are welcome, so please circulate this event to your networks.
