As you have hopefully heard, TASA 2022 is a part of the Council for the Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences (CHASS) inaugural Congress of HASS. In addition to the plethora of wonderful TASA sessions available, the Congress has several events that are open to all conference delegates and non-conference delegates.
To start with, the opening ceremony has a stella line up of panellists including fellow member Raewyn Connell. The Lord Mayor of Melbourne, Sally Capp, and the Dean of the Faculty of Arts at the University of Melbourne, Russell Goulbourne, will make some opening remarks before the panellist (see list below) discuss HASS Changing the World. The facilitator for the event is Misha Ketchell, Editor in Chief at The Conversation. Sunday November 27th, 4:00pm - 6:30pm.

Following the discussion, drinks and canapés will be served. The event is free to attend for students, the precariously employed and the unemployed. The registration fee for others is $15.00.
