Jan 2023

Hello wonderful people

Happy new year and wishing you plenty of good health and fun applied sociological activities for 2023.

It was so much fun to meet some of you face to face  at TASA2023  in Naarm/Melbourne end November on Wurundjeri country!

We are looking forward to seeing you all again soon virtually at our seminars very soon (more below) and back in Naarm end June for ISA2023!

TASA2022 conference

Some applied sociology highlights were the Keynote from Applied Sociologist Samantha Crompvoets (amazing!), the Women's breakfast with Carol Vale, our Applied sociology panel (more below) and Roger and Dorinda's presentation of preliminary findings from their survey of the role of sociologists and engaging with the public. Looking forward to sharing more about their work with you in 2023.
