TASA Thursday: Zine and zine making as sites of research brave spaces
About this event
Join us on Thursday 5th September, for this month's TASA Thursday Post Grad session: Zine and Zine making as sites of research brave spaces, presented by Rachele Reschiglian, University of Padova (Italy).
Research often challenges scholars on multiple levels, but what if we reframe it as a "space of care"? This seminar explores the concept of "Research Brave Space," using Rachele Reschiglian's (they/she) experiences with zine-making during their PhD on queer digital intimacies in Italy. We'll discuss the difficulties encountered in this process and the strategies to bravely overcome them, offering insights into creating supportive and courageous research environments.
