| Dear ~~first_name~~,
This is a friendly reminder that nominations for our Biennial Book Awards close on March 2nd.
While the nomination form itself is due by that date, we also ask that all nominated books be received by March 2nd so that our panelists have sufficient time to read and evaluate all entries before the final decision deadline.
If you plan to submit a nomination, we recommend ordering the books from your publisher as soon as possible to ensure they arrive by the deadline. Submissions are invited for the following prizes:
Stephen Crook Memorial Prize
Awarded for the best authored book in Australian Sociology.
Raewyn Connell Prize
Awarded for the best first book by an author in Australian Sociology.
Note, if a book is eligible for the Raewyn Connell Prize it may also be nominated for the Stephen Crook Memorial Prize (i.e. can nominate one book for both prizes but would need to supply 12 copies of the book - 6 for each book prize panel).
Nominations close on 2 March.
For the full details, the eligibility criteria, and links to the nomination forms, please read on.
Warm regards,
Sally, Penny and Ali
