Register + Save the Dates

2026 Monthly ‘Catch Up & Write’ Sessions

In late May the TASA Sociology of Youth thematic group held our first virtual ‘Catch Up & Write' session, bringing together colleagues for an afternoon of conversation, accountability, and focused writing time.

We are excited to continue these virtual sessions on the last Monday of every month from 1:00pm to 3:30pm to ensure we all have a dedicated space to write, connect, write some more, and connect some more!

What stood out most during our first ‘Catch Up & Write’ session was the value of writing alongside others and creating a space where getting words on the page felt a little easier. Between chats and bursts of productivity, we worked on everything from conference abstracts and narrative analyses to thesis chapters and journal articles.

If you are interested in joining us (for as little or as long as you can), please refer to the below 2026 schedule to register for the sessions you would like to attend and save the dates in your calendar.
