We hope you're all well as we race towards the end of year.

Lucy and I would love to invite you to our next TASA Early Career Group online coffee catch-up.

This will be an informal opportunity to connect with other early career sociologists from across Australia, hear what everyone is currently working on, and discuss future ideas for the network. We'll be using this opportunity to hear your thoughts as we shape the agenda for what's next, so we'd love to hear what kinds of events, professional development opportunities, or other initiatives you'd find most valuable as an Early Career Group member.

For those headed to this year's conference, it will also give you a chance to connect prior to the big event.

The Early Career Group brings together sociologists working in universities as well as those applying sociological knowledge across government (like Lucy!), industry (like Alex!) and the community sector. We hope this catch-up also provides an opportunity to share experiences, build connections across these different career pathways, and learn from one another.

Whether you're looking to expand your network, reconnect with colleagues, or simply meet others working across different areas of sociology, we'd love to have you join us.
