TASA 2025
Monday 24 November to Thursday 27 November 2025: University of Melbourne & online

The Australian Sociological Association (TASA) warmly invites you to the 2025 Annual Conference, an inspiring event that brings together the sociological community to explore the theme: Sociology in Action! Wellbeing, Policy, and Activism in Times of Crises and Change.

This dynamic and timely theme underscores the essential role of sociology in responding to contemporary challenges, emphasizing the importance of fostering wellbeing, shaping effective policies, and driving meaningful activism during periods of crisis and transformation.

As we navigate a world characterised by social, economic, environmental, and political upheavals, sociology offers critical insights and tools to address these complexities. The conference will provide a platform to examine how sociological research, practice, and teaching contribute to understanding and addressing crises while promoting resilience, equity, and sustainable change.
