Biography
I am a Lecturer in Social Research at the University of Tasmania. My teaching and research expertise falls under the broad themes of the sociology of gender, sexuality, families, and social inequalities; and longitudinal and life-course research. My current research is driven by my desire to understand the ways in which the intersecting forces of heteropatriarchy and neoliberalism create inequalities by gender and sexual identity, with a focus on women’s sexualities, gender-based violence, women’s care work, and diverse family structures.
