TASA is pleased to offer a 50% discount on conference registration for Indigenous & Torres Strait Islander members to support greater accessibility. If you are in a position to pay the full fee, we encourage you to do so, as this helps us continue funding initiatives that support our community. Please note that social events are not included in the discount and will be charged at full price. Check out the Bursaries page for details about a new Indigenous Travel Bursary.

Affiliate Associations: If you are a member of a sister sociological association, you are welcome to register for the same rate as TASA members. As a part of the online registration process, you will need to select the relevant non-member ticket and enter the
Affiliate Discount Code.

Presenter Registrations: Please note that all presenters need to be registered by
June 28th, 2025 to be included in the conference programme (i.e. if wanting to present).
*Category B & C countries: In line with the International Sociological Association’s (ISA) Table of Economies by Category, for TASA 2025, we are offering heavily reduced conference registration fees for members who reside in Category B & C countries. For a full list of countries in each Category, please click on the below headings:
Non-Members: Non TASA members can join TASA to get the cheaper member rate. Your membership would be active for 12 months from the date you join. If you have any questions regarding TASA membership, please reach out to

Code of Conduct outlines the behaviours and practices expected of TASA members, as well as individuals participating in TASA-branded or TASA-supported events, including conferences, webinars, workshops, and other professional activities.

Cancellation / Change Policy
All cancellations / changes must be emailed to Penny: events@tasa.org.au.
Refunds will include the full amount minus:
- 15% for cancellations / changes on or before 28 October 2025
- 50% for cancellations / changes between 29 September and 9 November 2025
- No refund for registration and social function cancellation / changes on or after 10 November 2025.
Note, a substitute attendee will be permitted at any time. To nominate a substitute, please include their full name and email address in your cancellation / change email.
