XX ISA World Congress of Sociology

Over the upcoming school holidays the world's leading sociologists are going to be in Melbourne for the XX International Sociological Association’s (ISA) World Congress of Sociology. The ISA have made a number of free registrations available to students (secondary school and undergraduate), schoolteachers and distinguished TASA guests. This is excellent opportunity to learn about cutting-edge research in the social sciences. The Congress program covers all areas of sociology, including sessions dedicated to youth, family, crime, community, inequality, social movements, Australian Indigenous experience, globalisation and culture and ethnicity.
